Body Surface Gastric Mapping and Longitudinal Outcome Monitoring to Evaluate Patients with Gastrointestinal Symptoms and Controls

Current Consortium Members

 Our Aim:

This study aims to evaluate the utility of non-invasive Body Surface Gastric Mapping (BSGM) in differentiating between functional dyspepsia, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, and gastroparesis by analysing its correlation with patient-reported symptoms and gastric electrical abnormalities, while also establishing a normative database from healthy controls. This project builds on the previous database by including longitudinal data to explore symptoms and the effect of interventions and medications.
